Statement

My practice is an attempt to loosen up, to irritate, and to address what we already know but do not want to see.

I’m interested in the gap between knowing and doing — where bias shapes our perception before we even notice it.

I work with real bias data — from justice, credit, hiring — as structuring material, and with make-up as its private counterpart: the quiet distortion by which we flatter ourselves.
